CRISTIANO RONALDO WINS 2016 UEFA BEST PLAYER

In not a surprising way to cap up his exploits in the 2016UEFA Champions league and Euro 2016; Cristiano Ronaldo emmerged UEFA's Europe player of the year for 2016. 

The Real Madrid forward beat team-mate Gareth Bale and Athletico Madrid striker, Antoine Greizman in the voting to emerge tops. 

Ronaldo, 31, in a sensational season,scored the winning penalty for Real in the Champions League final against Atletico and captained Portugal to Euro 2016 glory in July

In his acceptance speech, Ronaldo, the greatest soccer playing cyborg, ever made or animated, mentioned that he beat finalist/Real team mate Gareth Bale in the Euro semifinal and finalist/France and Athletico Madrid forward Antoine Greizmann in the Champions Leage and Euro finals
This is the second time the hard working winger would emerge UEFA'S BEST PLAYER IN Europe.He towered above his main rival, Lionell Messi last season through his achievements for his club and country.
